More experiential involvement in dance for young people/everyone

Make it a party not a performance

Spaces that are set up for interaction/socializing

Arts more integrated into life

 

PRAGMATIC IDEAS/TOOLS/PROGRAMS

Funding from more corporate and private sources

Free workshops about business/financial side of things

Everyone post everything on philadelphiadance.org

Sharing/pooling resources and administrative responsibility in the areas of

Grants, fundraising, management, social media, business

Ticket partnerships;

Converting one time audience members into consistent audience members

Local dance representative for incoming freshman

Increase connection between local schools and dance community, between the different schools, get dance students aware of philadelphiadance.org and the listserve

Look at other successful spaces as case studies (gibney)

Ask them about methodology, how their spaces operate
